Share work without losing control
Publish tracks publicly or keep them private behind a share link, with controlled downloads for unreleased work.
nextfeature is a place for musicians to share work, discover people, and make it easier to start something together. This page explains why I started building it, what you can use today, and where it might go next. It's a work in progress, and that's part of the point.
I'm Amon. I started making music in 2021, and I quickly ran into a problem that had little to do with the music itself: finding people whose work I liked, figuring out what they were building, and starting a real collaboration was surprisingly difficult.
Most of the places where musicians meet are built around scrolling, posting, and hoping the right person notices. The useful context gets scattered across social media, messages, and half-finished links.
I come from software engineering, so I kept thinking about the small tools that could make that first conversation easier. nextfeature is my attempt to build them in public, one useful piece at a time.
nextfeature is where producers and artists actually find each other. Not another feed, not another DM that goes unanswered. Upload your tracks, build a real profile, and let people hear enough to know if you're a fit. Follow the ones whose work you want to be near — then reach out and make something together. It's also where you keep the work itself: safe uploads, shareable tracks, playlists, a share page for your links, and a dashboard that shows who's really listening. nextfeature isn't for background listening. It's for finding who you make music with next.
The current version is small on purpose. These are the parts you can use right now:
Publish tracks publicly or keep them private behind a share link, with controlled downloads for unreleased work.
Browse Discover and public artist profiles, follow the people you like, and get notified when they release something new.
Listen with waveform data and see automatic BPM and key analysis alongside the music.
Bring your music, socials, and important channels together on one public page you can share anywhere.
There is no finished master plan hiding behind this page. I want nextfeature to be shaped by how musicians actually use it, what gets in their way, and what they wish existed. If you try it and have an idea, send feedback from your account — it genuinely helps decide what comes next.
You can explore the public tracks and artist profiles without committing to anything. If the idea feels useful, create an account and help me make the next version better.
